The 399 East Main Street building has provided true loft-style offices with original hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and high ceilings with exposed ducts in the Main Street corridor known as the Market Exchange District since its redevelopment in 2003.

399 East Main StreetThe building’s close proximity to Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s main campus as well as the central business district and densely populated German Village and Near East Side communities made the fit for Closer to Home a natural one.

“The location of 399 Main met Children’s requirements for the neighborhoods they planned to serve,” said JR Kern, principal of Capitol Equities who represented the landlord, “and the fact that we were able to offer ample off-street parking for their staff and patients within the central business district added to its desirability.”

Nationwide Children’s Hospital has committed to a ten year term and will be occupying thirty percent of the building, which is now 100% leased. Capitol Equities has provided brokerage services for 399 East Main Street since 2002.
